Claranor, a pioneer in Pulsed Light decontamination
Claranor is a French company specializing in packaging sterilization using pulsed light. Based in Avignon, the company has been developing ecological and economical solutions for the food industry, and more recently for the cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors, for over 20 years. With over 600 machines installed in 63 countries, Claranor is a world leader. Its expertise is based on both academic partnerships (INRAE, Fraunhofer) and industrial innovations.
These achievements require substantial R&D and industrial investment, motivating Claranor to seek public and European funding.
As part of the France Relance plan, Claranor received financial support from the Région Sud, Territoires d’Industrie and the European Union.

This funding contributed to the development of the project to internalize the manufacture of critical components and a microbiology laboratory.
