Non-thermal, instantaneous, chemical-free lid sterilization solution
Claranor’s energy-efficient, chemical-free, non-heating Pulsed Light solution instantly reduces the microbial load on lids. The system is designed to handle both plastic and aluminum lids, with formats ranging from Ø 20 to 60 mm, and outputs of up to 60,000 bottles per hour. In addition to being more environmentally friendly, the Claranor solution reduces operating costs linked to the purchase, storage and management of chemical agents, while facilitating line maintenance.
Simple, hygienic integration of the Pulsed Light bottle lid decontamination module
The Bottle Lid decontamination machine comprises three modules:
- An optical cabinet, integrated into the line, which emits flashes of light using a water-cooled xenon lamp,
- A pneumatic unit, which controls the flow of lids using sterile air,
- An electronic control cabinet, which manages the entire system.
The whole unit has been designed to meet cleaning and industrial safety requirements (IP66 standards).
Validated microbial efficacy of the Pulsed Light bottle lid decontamination solution
The solution achieves a microbial reduction of over 3 Log on Aspergillus brasiliensis, on surfaces in contact with the product. It is a reliable solution for producers of :
