The Claranor team

A team of approximately thirty people works on developping pulsed light packaging sterilization solutions in Avignon, Provence, France.

Claranor equipment is fully designed, assembled and commissioned at this site prior to installation at the final customer's site or that of the equipment manufacturer/integrator.

Company departments:

  • Sales - Marketing: 4 people. Claranor distributors and agents throughout the world also contribute to the growth of the pulsed light market
  • Production: workshop management, purchasing, planning, and quality control of the machines
  • Engineering: mechanical and electronics/control system design office for standard machines, special machines and prototypes
  • R&D: study of new applications, evaluation of the microbiological performance of the technology; development and optimization of the equipment (electronics, optics)
  • Customer service: commissioning and installation, after-sales service and monitoring machines throughout their industrial operation. Coordination of the work of Claranor technicians and partners
  • Administrative : management accounting and HR

The Claranor Board:

Christophe Riedel, CEO

Food technology engineer - Agroparistech - MBA from EM-Lyon.
With 20 years’ experience in R&D and the food industry, Christophe Riedel joined Claranor in 2007, taking on responsibility for the company's business development. He became CEO in 2010.

Eric Mandel, Administrative and Financial Director

Eric Mandel joined Claranor as Administrative and Financial Director when the company moved to Avignon in 2010, after spending 15 years with various industrial groups as accountant, financial controller and administration manager. Using this experience he now manages the social and financial aspects of the company.

 

Aurélia Schmitt, Purchasing and Production Manager

Engineer in Industrial Engineering and Supply Chain Management, Aurélia worked 9 years at Arcelor Mittal. His last position as Purchasing Manager allowed her to acquire a real know-how in the deployment of purchasing strategies and process improvement (security, costs, deadlines, quality). Previously, she has gained significant experience in production workshop management and continuous improvement tools. Claranor benefits from her experience since October 2, 2017.

Anthony Hereng, Sales Manager 

Engineer degree in Mechanics (ICAM Toulouse).
Anthony Hereng joined the commercial team in 2010, after spending a few years in the international sales department of several equipment suppliers for the food industry. Now at the head of the Sales Department, he is responsible for new market prospection as well as relationship with Claranor commercial partners abroad (distributors and agents).
