Claranor was set up in 2004 with the aim of developing industrial applications for pulsed light as a surface decontamination technology.
In-line packaging sterilization rapidly emerged as an obvious application, to replace technologies using chemicals or irradiation, in particular in the drinks and dairy product sectors.
With over 300 machines in operation at the end of 2017, Claranor is today recognized by the sector as a supplier of high-performance, reliable solutions which are ideal for the requirements of the food processing industry.
Referenced by the main equipment manufacturers in the dairy and drinks sectors, Claranor pulsed light is currently used in the largest industrial groups, headed by Nestlé Waters, which was one of the pioneers, and the first to adopt Claranor solutions on its bottling lines.
Claranor's priority is to provide its customers with faultless service, and to continue improving the performance of its equipment in order to open up new markets.
To this end, the team is expanding, with a more clearly defined structure, and the company is continuing to ensure it has leading edge scientific expertise available and a network of qualified contacts so that it can respond to requests from anywhere in the world.
